We are delighted to announce that Charlotte Garford has been awarded the John Beere Prize 2019. The prize was awarded by the Institute for Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Nottingham, Derby and Lincolnshire for the highest marks for the Professional Level exams sat in the 2018 academic year. Charlotte said “It was a surprise to win the award and I am very happy to accept it. I am pleased to have the hard work that I put in recognised.”
Andrew Botham, Managing Director of Botham Accounting, added “It is important to understand that this award is given for the highest marks awarded in 6 professional exams over an academic year so it is testament to the consistent dedication and effort that Charlotte has put in to her studies. Everyone here at Botham Accounting is proud of her and we all share in congratulating her on this success.”
The Chartered Accountants examinations are divided into three sections. The Certificate, Professional and Advanced levels. The Professional level is the middle section of these and contains six of the 15 examinations that make up the ACA qualification.
The award was presented at the Nottingham Chartered Accountants Students’ Society (NCASS) Dinner held at East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham.
