Tim leads Botham Accounting’s South Yorkshire office based in Sheffield, supporting owner-managed and SME businesses across the region.

Tim began his career at Grant Thornton and has held senior roles including CEO of a large regional accountancy firm and senior partner at a fast-growing national practice. He’s also worked in industry with a major regional retailer—giving him a direct understanding of the pressures business owners face.

As a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Tim combines technical expertise with a commercial mindset.  He works closely with business owners across Sheffield and South Yorkshire to provide clear, timely information and commercial experience to help them make informed decisions.

Outside of practice, Tim is serving a second term as an elected councillor in Rotherham.  He has experience in public and third-sector governance through roles including Vice Chair of the Health Select Commission and a member of the South Yorkshire Police and Crime Panel.
